We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the triune God, sent to the church by the Father and the Son. He applies to our individual lives the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit empowers the believer to live a true Christian life.  By regeneration a person experiences conversion and spiritual rebirth; by sanctification a person's nature comes progressively into conformity with Christ's own nature; by glorification a person will come into the full realization of his/her redemption.

We believe that the Holy Spirit also enables the church as a whole to carry out the purposes of God. This is accomplished primarily through the baptism in the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  The baptism in the Holy Spirit is the promise of the Father, procured by the Son, and given to the church to empower it and to enable it to effectively evangelize the whole earth.  The gifts of the Spirit are dispensed to individual believers in accordance with God's design and are intended to edify the church.  For the local church to function properly, it must be motivated by love for one another, and respect the individual gifts of all its members.  more...
