Mike Laramee has been a member of MWC since June of 1996. Currently he serves as the director for both Treasure Way children's ministry and the Media team. His education is a BA in studio art (painting, drawing, sculpture) and another BA in music (with a double major in both piano and voice) from the University of Maine in Orono. Born and raised in Dedham MA along with his two brothers, Mike married Erica Schneeweiss in December of 2005. They have two children; a son, Caden Ephraim, born December 12th, 2006 and a daughter Makenna Dannelle, born June 26th 2008.

Mike loves reading, especially historical fiction and biographies and loves animals, especially saltwater tropical fish. He worked at a pet store for 10 years and originally wanted to be a veterinarian. He gave his heart to God at age 25 while finishing college, hoping for a career in music. He had a sense that God wanted him to work with children and hasn't looked back since.
