Program offers Career Coaching over coffee

Michigan Works! West Central is inviting job seekers and those looking for some career-advancement advice to attend its newest program: Career. Coffee. Chat.

This new program provides attendees with career coaching in a relaxed setting, while sharing a cup of coffee and maybe a doughnut or two.

The Career. Coffee. Chat program meets every Tuesday, from 9 to 10 a.m. at your local Michigan Works! West Central service center. Those interested in attending are asked to start with a new cohort on the first Tuesday of the month.

The goal of the program is to provide help to those looking to advance their career no matter what stage they are at in the process. If you are looking for resume building tips, interested in training on a new skill or just want to share struggles you're having at your current job, the Career. Coffee. Chat. program is right for you.

Attendees will participate in icebreaker activities, ways you like to communicate, learning about others' personalities, ask what success looks like for you and more!

If you are interested, please stop by at 9 a.m. every Tuesday for four consecutive weeks, beginning the first Tuesday of each month at your nearest Michigan Works! West Central service center. Our centers are located in Baldwin, Big Rapids, Ludington, Newaygo Reed City and Shelby. Click here to find the one nearest you.
