What we do:

How Registered Apprenticeships Work
Paid Employment
Apprentices earn wages while gaining valuable hands-on experience and receive wage increases as skills are mastered.
On-The-Job Training
Employees work alongside experienced mentors who provide guidance and practical instruction.
Related Technical Instruction
Training may be provided through a community college, trade school, vendor training or another approved provider.
Nationally Recognized Credential
Upon successful completion, apprentices earn a credential recognized throughout the United States.
USDOL APPROVED APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS
Michigan Works! West Central is an intermediary and holds the following programs under its apprenticeship standards. These programs are designed to be completed in 1 year or with 2,000 hours of on-the-job training/work.
