Michigan's Work

Share Program

This program is designed for employers who are resuming operations and bringing staff back to work from unemployment during COVID-19. Through Work Share, you can have your employees brought back with limited hours and your staff can still collect part of their unemployment benefits to even out lost wages. Employees who utilize this program also receive $600 in federal  unemployment benefits in addition to state weekly unemployment.
