The Theme For This Year Is 'Access To Good Jobs For All'

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)! This year’s theme — “Access to Good Jobs for All” — highlights the importance that all workers, including those with disabilities, deserve the opportunity to prepare for, obtain and succeed in good jobs.

Held each October, NDEAM provides an opportunity to learn more about disability employment topics and celebrate the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities. Find resources to help your business participate in this annual celebration at dol.gov/NDEAM. You also can visit any of Michigan Works! West Central's six service center, which all house offices for Michigan Rehabilitation Services.

For specific ideas about how Michigan Rehabilitation Services and the Bureau Services for Blind Persons can support your business this month and beyond, submit a request to the Business Network Division and the Business Relations Consultant in your area contact you.
